Today, I went Keto Grocery Shopping! $202.00 at Winco for quite a lot of meat and vegetables. I spent the good part of an hour vacuum sealing my meats and freezing them. Turns out, meat is super cheap when the sell-by date is tomorrow. Into the freezer you will go, my delicious animals. Omnomnom.
Breakfast was three slices of bacon, scrambled eggs, and a spoon of peanut butter. I wasn’t noticeably hungry until around 1:30. I was quite impressed. :] I need to be on my water intake, because I completely ignored my water bottle while I was shopping. It just rolled around the child seat in the cart and I was utterly oblivious. Good thing I don’t have children.
Lunch was Skillet Chicken Florentine from Linda’s Low Carb Recipes. Yum! Next time, I need to add a bit more spinach. It was served with a side of slightly runny mashed cauliflower. Oops. I think sour cream instead of heavy cream will be a better choice. I wonder if I can add almond flour to improve the texture. I will have to experiment!
I have some pork in the fridge for dinner, not sure what to do with it yet. Maybe grill it with some zucchini and squash?
No Keto Flu. Doesn’t seem to be interacting with my Sertraline either. Hooray!
I need to remember to take photos of my meals. Tomorrow will have photographs! Maybe. Possibly.
