I’ve never been one for blogging. Sure, I like reading the (very) occasional blog, and sometimes I even half-heartedly follow along. Blogging seems so vain.
But today I am starting a huge lifestyle change and I realised I needed more than Facebook posts to motivate me.
So, here we go.
I’m a 21 year old female, 5’6″ and I weigh 170 lbs. This is the heaviest I’ve ever been. My fat girl pants don’t fit. I’m muffin topping. I have an addiction to food and if I don’t stop, things will get bad. I’m an incoming freshman at UW and, trust me, nothing is more motivating than a gaggle of fresh out of high school girls in size zeroes.
So today is day one of Keto. I will be almost entirely cutting carbs from my diet. I’m aiming at a 1200-1500 calorie per day diet. I will be starting C25K (again) and lifting weights. And that’s it.
This blog is my food journal (used in conjunction with LoseIt and RunKeeper), my keto venting, my thinspo, and many pictures of my corgi.
